Keren Pillow

Needlepoint and Canvaswork - Keren pillowStitch a Middle Eastern inspired project on mono canvas in basic Continental or Basketweave stitch.

Eight colors of tapestry wool are used in this project. Our sample is finished as a pillow, but it would also be pretty finished as a bag front. The design measures 5×5 inches when worked on 14-count canvas.

Stitch Experiments

NK_MonoDoodleSquaredIf you’ve been looking for a small project using minimal supplies that you can tuck in your handbag to bring along on trips or errands, these little needlepoint doodles are perfect. They’re small, easy to tote with you and fun to stitch.

I’ve made six different needlepoint patterns, each of them featuring a different square motif using a variety of counted needlepoint stitches, as an exercise in stitch experimentation.

 Summer Bouquet

Summer Bouquet Needlepoint PatternThis simple pattern features a traditional Victorian-inspired summer floral bouquet worked in an earthy, monotone color scheme.I’ve finished stitching project, but haven’t yet decided what to do with it!

 Spring Counted Needlepoint

NK_07FinishedBracelet2Stitch a simple band in counted needlepoint using complimentary shades of overdyed size 5 pearl cotton. The design can be finished as a bracelet or bookmark.

I have been looking for how to imprint a design on a needlepoint canvas. I have a small pet bakery and people are always asking for personalized collars like I have on my dogs but I know where to buy them but those people made them somehow. I just don’t know where to look so that I can design and stitch them myself. I’m looking for Color imprints not count type. so I can put a name in the collar and some design around it. Do you have any suggestions on where to look? I’m lost.
